Our Story
The Start
This Restaurant was made 10 years ago by a devout missionary, Rosalie Wither, who after coming back to Australia after so many years in Cambodia, wished to bring the Cambodian lifestyle to Australia. From living in Cambodia for 14 years, Wither found the best way to bring the Khmer culture to life was through their food. Therefore she started a restaurant. She first started by cooking some dishes for her friends, who after discovering the unforgettable tastes, encouraged and helped her set up and start her very own restaurant. She called it, Khmer House.
A Brilliant Menu
The menu is made up of delicious Khmer dishes, with natural ingredients grown in Cambodia. The sweet aromas mix with the relaxing setting and comfortable sitting arrangements. The food sits on your plate, pleading with you to eat it. You taste the fist bite and your mouth explodes with the fresh tastes zipping along your taste buds. You think of the beautiful country of Cambodia as you sit in awe at the flavours resting on your tongue.
Drinks
All the ingredients are grown fresh in Cambodian country side. Fresh air and sweet rain help the crops grow to their fullest potential.
